Rock Band 2 Announced!!!

rb2.jpg

Well as many other people have put it, to the absolute surprise of no one, Rock Band 2 is set to come out in September for the 360 and at a later date for the other systems.

I have to say, a little tear came to my eye when I awoke this morning to the sweet sweet news that my favorite game of all time will be getting a sequel. And the best news of all? All of the songs I've downloaded (there's a lot of 'em) will transfer over to the new game so right off the bat I'll have near 200 songs to play on the new game! Woo hoo!

Details still seem to be a bit sparse and the powers that be say more information will be released at this years E3. That's only a few agonizing weeks away. Rock Band 2 will look and play pretty much the same but with a whole slew of updates, tweaks, and improvements on the original. You can still use all the instruments that you have now but they...

It's been such a long time...

I think I should be going... Sorry, I got a little carried away. Still rockin' the Boston pack that was released several weeks ago. What can I say... I love it! Anyways, man it's been awhile since I wrote a blog so I figured now is as good a time as any to update!

So since the last time we spoke I have moved back to my wonderful home town of Atlanta and man am I loving it! It's always good seeing old friends and faces. I'm looking forward to staying back for awhile.

So some good news, I finally got the job that I've been wanting for about forever now it seems. It starts in July and I seriously think it'll catapult my career. Can't wait. Other than that things have been pretty chillaxed around the place. I won't bore y'all with any of the details but I'll just say that I'm glad to be back! Again I'll try and update my blog more often but you know how it is... ...

A Day Late... But not a dollar short!

The site is finally live! I've been working pretty much non-stop, around the clock to get this bad boy up and running and I think it has paid off! There are still a few kinks here and there to work out and I'll be ironing things out for the rest of the week. Now that my schedule has cleared up a little I'll have more time to do other things like.... well, more work!

I'm going to try and update this blog as much as possible. I'd like to do it about once a week but it'll probably be more like once a month... I'm a man a few words. Mostly they'll be about cool stuff like video games and awesome gadgetry! I probably won't ever go into too much detail about what's going on in my personal life 'cause I like to keep things like that to myself. Here's to an awesome year and lots of fun stuff ahead!...

Smokin'!

It's finally time for Rock Band to roll out its first (nearly) complete album as DLC - and since we're a proud Boston operation, what could be more appropriate than the multi-platinum debut by our own arena rock warriors, Boston?

First released in 1976, the album was an immediate sensation, and went on to become the top-selling debut album of all time. Even today, you can't listen to a classic-rock station for more than a couple hours without running into one of the songs.

The band's brainy leader Tom Scholz created most of this music in his home studio in the Boston suburbs; and after all these years, few people are really sure how he did it. So to celebrate the DLC release, we present this behind-the-scenes look at the myths and facts surrounding an album you all know by heart. (Much of this info was drawn from interviews between web editor Brett Milano an...
